Our Creation 

TheMother Earth Restoration Trust (The MERT) came into consideration (Spiritual Thought) in early 2013.

Witnessing the world spiral into deeper and deeper crisis, The MERT was inspired to bring our collective attention to the living planet. Listening and responding to the request of the planet Herself, The MERT was birthed to amplify the voice of Mother Earth, a primordial Mother to all of Life from time immemorial (also referred to as “the Mother”) because the global, social and bio-cultural crisis had escalated beyond critical levels.

In 2015, The Mother Earth Restoration Trust was formally established as a non-profit organization in the state of Colorado. The MERT is in function of the Mother Earth and views Her and the Elemental Beings of Nature as “Spiritual Authorities” who, by definition, are those fulfilling with permanence that sacred responsibility of caring for and preserving ALL the Beings (this includes Nature and Humans) that coexist on the Earth body; those who are giving eternally and with constancy sustaining All Life on this planet and in the Universe. The MERT is guided by the Mother’s ancient wisdom which is permeated with original thought of which is held and preserved through the natural order that is exemplified in Nature, here since the dawn of time and identified as the “Highest Authority” above and beyond common laws made by man, given to Humanity yet long forgotten.

The Mother is calling Her Children (Humanity) towards UNITY in a common initiative for global transformation and giving a pathway that leads to Her restoration — which ultimately is our restoration being peoples of the Earth, who are dependent and in communion with Her.

In Her multiple warnings to the world, the call to make Mother Earth a priority has been neglected by the majority. In mid 2017, Nature began showing critical levels well beyond anything ever before witnessed.

In the words of Mother Earth:

The Elemental Beings of Nature are suffering, they are feeling pain, anger and resentment. Rain is going to fall down with resentment–severe flooding. Wind is going to come with problems, no longer tranquil, bringing illnesses. Lightening will strike with anger. All this is due to everything Humanity has done and continues to do to me and to Nature. Humanity unfortunately has never understood what I have been expressing through Nature nor what I truly am, a primordial Mother to all Life. Earth, Nature, Water, and Woman are one, we are the same, we all give Life and perpetuate Life.

Humanity is getting ready to begin seeing the manifestations of all the Elemental Beings of Nature who are also my Children. Humanity will never, ever imagine that these manifestations could be possible, that they could even exist, and this is going to continue happening until Humanity remembers to fulfill their sacred responsibilities – to care for all Life in reciprocity for ALL that sustains them alive. This is how balance will be preserved. What does that mean to care for All of Life? It begins by seeking the restoration of your thoughts, by seeking the healing of your words and actions, understanding that what you do to me, Nature, Water, Woman you do to yourselves. Remember, ALL are vital in the Web of Life. It is time to relocate Negativity and bring Positivity into the light of day and in doing so the spirit of Humanity will be recovered. 

The Mother Earth Restoration Trust, in deep alliance with the Mother Earth and all of Nature, is unwaveringly dedicated to restoring and sustaining the natural balance of Life. Through this collaboration, our unique contribution to the greater whole is our commitment to transforming our relationships within ourselves, with one another and to remember our sacred responsibility within the natural world. Hence, The MERT’s intitiatives are all focused on effectively following the Mother’s instructions ultimately all working together towards Her restoration and meant to be replicated around the world (a fractal effect).

In 2017, through the guidance of the Mother, The MERT facilitated and lead an eight year process to heal the Feminine and Nature with many other participants from our global community, who continue to walk with us today. Preserving a harmonious relationship to the Mother Earth begins with a deep, critical analysis of self to identify our own contributions to the state of imbalance that the world is in. This awareness lead to a collective commitment towards “internal order” – to remain vigilant and mindful of how our thoughts, words and actions affect the entire Web of Life.

The MERT embraces the understanding that the outside world reflects our (Humanity’s) internal order. This has many components, which begins with a simple view that we are all intricately connected to all things that are transpiring. Taking accountability for the affectations brought upon into the Web of Life make the initiatives within The MERT stand out and inspire us to forever be attentive to coherent leadership where we are consciously sowing seeds of Positive Spiritual Thought out into the world. True unity is achievable when we (Humanity) remain attentive to solely edifying one another.

In 2018, The MERT was invited to expand and further develop our programs in Arizona with the collaboration of many others.

In 2021, the Verde River Headwaters Land Tract, which holds great historical and bio-cultural significance was presented to The Mother Earth Restoration Trust (The MERT) for consideration in preserving an invaluable source of Water. It was immediately seen that the life of the River is in danger. She, the Mother Herself, was/is sending this “opportunity” as a request for The MERT, in common unity and purpose with many others, to act on Her behalf.

The Verde River Headwaters Land Tract is home to 7 Springs, who contribute to making the Verde one of the last remaining perennial Rivers in Arizona. This would be the beginning of our Bio-cultural Land Recovery Program within The MERT. It has been through this intiative that a Water Program and Childrens Program are now in current development. 

The MERT realizes that what guarantees justice and protection of all living forms (bio-cultural diversity) is to uphold our own original rights and the rights of the Mother–given at the Origins–by strengthening values and principles that are rooted and found in the natural order that is exemplified in Nature. The Mother continues to guide us/humanity, to stop depending solely on external agents (e.g., legal and political frameworks, activism, movements, protests, etc.), as these are meant to be secondary and complementary. This means that rights are upheld and balance is preserved when the sacred responsibilities are fulfilled with absolute coherence (referred to as “internal order”).

We (The MERT) are convinced that restoring the Earth back to a sound, balanced physiological state begins with ourselves (internal order) and that Earth restoration is grounded and nourished with coherence and integrity. The MERT is under the guidance and leadership of the Mother Herself and is committed to serving ALL of Life.

The Earth is not just the responsibility of one specific group – it is the responsibility of the entire world.

The spiritual basis of The MERT is therefore founded on the Universal Principles of reciprocity and complementarity; the Original Mandate given to All beings created to live on Earth. 

The Mother Earth Restoration Trust holds the view that the Earth is a living, breathing BEING and as such, we are each living cells within Her body. We thereby live in a deep symbiotic and reciprocal relationship with the Earth. Just as our bodies get sick, so does the Earth body. And just as our bodies need to heal when they are not well, so too does the Earth body. We know this today in terms of climate change; earthquakes (Earth), storms (Water and Air), and global warming (Fire) in response to Humanity’s ongoing disconnect from Life’s Original Principles. She is speaking in the language of the Elements, guiding us into remembrance of our sacred responsibility.

The MERT exists to both bring awareness of “Life’s Original Principles” into collective consciousness while advocating for Mother Earth & Nature so that She can continue advocating for us.  To this end, we engage people worldwide in transformational experiences simply by sharing Her wisdom of Origin and by cultivating relationships that are founded on mutual care for Her wellbeing. We are here to inspire and catalyze the human family to remember our interconnectedness and to generate a critical mass of conscious commitment to restore balance and harmony on Earth.

Life’s Original Principles (The MERT’s Guiding Values)

~ We understand the Mother Earth is a living, breathing BEING within a living Universe. 

~ All BEINGS are vitally connected and each is an inextricable part of the Web of Life. 

~ Community, Cooperation, Reciprocity, Complementarity and Dialogue are essential for Life. 

~ Life is meant to be preserved and sustained in Balance and Harmony. 

~ Human BEINGS are born with a sacred responsibility to care for and serve ALL Life.
